Job Depression

The thought of another Monday morning can always be somewhat of a downer. But according to a study by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Service Administration, some careers seem to cause more depression than others. Personal care and service workers ranging from child caregivers to beauty salon technicians reported a depression rate of nearly 11 percent. Engineers and architects were on the low end with rates of just over four percent. Lower incomes, part-time hours and age are thought to be the main contributing factors.
