National WEAR RED DAY is February 5th, 2010

In 2009, more than 5,000 companies showed their support of women and the fight against heart disease by their involvement in the Go Red For Women movement.

To celebrate the next National Wear Red Day on Friday, February 5th, 2010:

  • Encourage employees to wear red. This is the simplest way to help raise awareness of the fight against heart disease in women.

  • Encourage employees to speak up about heart disease. Ask them to open up and share the changes they have made to live a more heart-healthy life.

  • You can register as Wear Red Day Coordinator/host and then get the free downloadable tools needed to help you plan your successful Wear Red Day.

  • Donate to support medical research, plus awareness, education and community programs to help women live longer, stronger, heart-healthy lives.
